Maison Papillon
Set in the Cantley landscape, this building will be the first pediatric palliative care home in the Outaouais region and the ninth of its kind in Canada. The facility aims to redefine the concept of care by providing a compassionate and lively environment for children and their families facing challenging medical conditions.
Spread over approximately 4,300 square feet, the facility includes six bedrooms and two family suites as well as common areas, specialized rooms, administrative offices and a finished basement and garage. The facility will encompass eight thoughtfully designed rooms, including two family suites, offering comprehensive pediatric palliative care services. In addition, it will provide a wide array of services for children, such as play therapy, music therapy and animal-assisted therapy. The focus on respite care will be at the hear t of this project, creating an atmosphere akin to a fun-filled camp rather than a clinical hospital.
